36 HOURS TO SAVE MOULTON'S GREENBELT - GET YOUR COMMENTS IN BY THE 18th OCTOBER!

 Good afternoon all!

Thank you again for ALL of you who have signed, shared and commented on our petition to Save Moulton's Greenbelt! Nearly 500 of you have signed since we started this only a month ago, and now we are so close to the end of the consultation period! Cheshire West are receiving comments until the end of the 18th October (tomorrow!) for 21/03479/OUT so if you haven't already, please consider placing a comment on their website or emailing them. I have below included our simple, how-to guide to commenting and objecting to planning applications alongside with a list of some of the usable comments to help you if you've never done it before.

Finally, I know that so many of you already have commented, shared and signed, but if you haven't already, could you please take this opportunity to share our message to Save Moulton's Greenbelt with any of your neighbours, family and friends in the village. Every signature and comment from residents helps our cause, and only together can we, and we can, achieve our goal of Saving Moulton's Greenbelt.

**Our guide to commenting on planning applications**

All objections should be personalised; a planning officer receiving 100 objections that are identical, word-for-word, will give less weight to 100 objections that are tailored and bespoke to specific points. Objections that are signed by multiple individuals count as one objection, but then objections can come from anyone, so please do encourage your friends, family and fellow villagers to support us!

How to comment

Email or Written Letter of Comment

You can e-mail your objection to planning@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or post them to Planning, Cheshire West and Chester Council, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 0BE.

In all cases, please quote the planning reference number 21/03479/OUT.

Planning Portal
Go to https://pa.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/online-applications/ and note the comments. There is advance notice for some periods of maintenance.

If you do not have an account, click “Register” with a blue icon on the gray bar. (if you do have a login then select Login, enter your email address and password and skip to the next step)

On the next page enter your title, name, email and select a password, and click Next. You will be asked for your postcode, and then your address. You must accept the terms and conditions.

You will be sent an email to complete registration (although you may need to retrieve it from the Spam folder)

Searching while logged in
Select the blue magnifying glass (Search), then Planning and then Simple Search.

At the search box, at the bottom of the page, enter 21/03479/OUT and select Search

Commenting
You can comment by selecting the Blue “Make a Comment” button at the top right of the screen. This will load up the form where you can Copy and Paste your objections.

We would recommend that you select the yellow star to Track this application – this will mean it will show up on your profile page when you login.

Dan Marr is standing to Save Moulton's Greenbelt on 23rd September 2021

Hey all, As Polling Day is just over 2 weeks away (eek!), I wanted to formally launch my campaign to Save Moulton's Greenbelt on the 23rd September 2021. As you may have seen from my previous post (please see " Save Moulton's Greenbelt - Launch Speech "), like many of my fellow residents I have been frustrated by the recent outline plan made by Miller Homes for up to 120 houses just off Niddries Lane, and I want to make sure that this plan, which is totally outside our Neighbourhood Plan and our Settlement Boundary, does not go ahead. I am looking forward to campaigning over the next few weeks to be your local representative fighting to protect our greenbelt, and by supporting me on the 23rd September, you can send Moulton Parish Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council a clear message: Save Moulton's Greenbelt.
